At Puppy Playland we love meeting your dogs’ daycare needs with a staff that has maturity, passion, and experience in working with all types of dogs.  We do this to give you the peace of mind knowing that your best friend will be in a safe, fun, and loving environment while you are away.  We love tailoring their days activities to exactly what they want to make it the “Best Ever”.  We provide our “Puppycams” so that you can check on your dog at any time.  This is one of our clients favorite features and lets you know that your dog is getting the attention and care they need all day.  Not every daycare in our area feels this way and does not offer this feature.  It’s important to us to keep your trust in this way. 

We now feature separate areas for our Large and Active Dogs, as well as our Small and Less Active Dogs.  We offer the largest indoor play areas in San Ramon (Three Times Bigger), ideal when the weather is not so great.  This also allows us to make sure your dog gets their attention which is more difficult  with  umpteen yards were they could wander off to without direct supervision.  We maintain the best staff to dog ratios in the area because we truly care about your expectations.  We also have seen that dogs watch themselves to make sure they get enough rest during the day.  If they don’t we have a separate and quiet building were we can put them for a nap if they need one(usually a half hour will do).  We believe you should not have to pay for your dog to not get attention so we can take a two hour lunch.

We are passionate about a clean play area and a clean dog.  We listened to our clients and know they care about their dogs health and cleanliness too.  It takes a lot of people to keep your dog happy and also keep everything clean.

We removed the mats from the plans for our new facility because we found at our old facility they had pores that collected bacteria and odors that would not come out.  We look forward to expanding with an outdoor area in the near future when we can do it right and can resolve our “City Issues”.  When we do we will leave out the grass because if we can’t provide proper drainage and cleanliness we won’t do it. 

Daycare Rates

Specials: We periodically offer discounted specials during our off seasons, and to say “Thank You” to our loyal customers. We believe in fairness to all of you who give us the privilege of caring for your dog. If there is a special being offered then you will find out because you will receive it without asking. When you call ask if we are offering any current specials. If we forget, we are sorry for the error and will correct our mistake as soon as possible. We don’t believe in ”Flat Rates”. They cost you extra money. We will tailor a package to fit your needs and rebate you back at the end of the month toward the next month for any time not used. It’s your money, and we believe in giving you the best value available, without asking.

Daycare costs are as follows: Rates are effective February 1, 2007

Individual Day: $35.00

Half Day Visits are available at any time on a drop in basis. A half-day is any 6-hour period. Any one half-day visit cost is $18.00

New Policy: Effective 12-1-2007 all passes past and present do not expire regardless of the 30 day expiration stated on the pass. All passes are eligible for refund for 12 months, then they can be used for daycare or credited toward our other services after 12 months. All passes are kept on file for a period of at least two years. We reserve the right to periodically review passes and issue refunds for unused days. Please ask and we will be glad to look to see if you still have a valid pass.

Our New Client Pass is $56 for three days plus you get an extra free day. It can also be used for ½ or full days but does not receive the 10% multiple dog discount, however each dog gets their own new client pass. With your New Client Pass you also receive a 10% discount on your first regular pass.

We offer discounted multiple visit passes for your convenience as well as saving you money. All passes are good for half or full day use in any combination.

Our Best Offer Yet!! The Guaranteed Pricing Program
We know everyone has budget concerns these days. We are passing on our new location cost savings to you. I don’t think the other daycares offer this value. Bring your dog at least one full, or two half days a week and you get your daycare for $23 per day with purchase of an 8 or 12 visit pass for at least one year.
Ask for a custom quote for this program if you have a multiple dog household.

For those that have a less regular schedule we still have discount pricing and have eliminated the 10% price increase we had at our old location.
Multiple Visit Passes are priced as follows:
4 Visit Pass: $116.00 or $29.00 per day
8 Visit Pass: $216.00 or $27.00 per day
12 Visit Pass:$300.00 or $25.00 per day

Monthly Client Package
If you choose to bring your dog four or five days a week for play and piece of mind you can save even more: Purchase your pass on a monthly basis: $20.00 per day paid in advance. You don’t pay for days your dog can’t attend. That is why cost is on a daily basis. Months vary in length, we don’t charge for holidays, you or your dog might be home sick, some days might be only a half day, plus we allow you to be gone for vacation and still keep your monthly discount. Missed days are credited on your next pass. Multiple dog households are also eligible for this program at special rates. Ask for your custom quote! As a bonus “Monthly” clients can attend daycare on weekends for free, and receive a 20% discount on boarding rates.

We also offer 10% discounts on almost all of our passes for multiple dog families.

Late Pickup Charges
If your dog is picked up after 7:00 pm there may be an additional charge of $5.00 for every 15 minutes that you are late to pay the overtime costs we incur. We will try to contact you if it is getting late to see what happened. If your dog is not picked up by 7:30 they may be placed in boarding for the night at the prevailing rate. Please notify us in advance if you are going to be late so that we may try to avoid any misunderstandings and additional charges.
